Hello! I'm Makenna Berry, and this portfolio showcases my experience in event management. Based in Orlando, Florida, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects. Event highlights

A glimpse into some of the events i've had the pleasure of being a part of. Each event represents a unique experience and a chance to create lasting memories. From coordinating logistics to ensuring seamless execution, i take pride in every detail.

Largest Event

During my time at Babcock Ranch, one of the signature events I help support is our annual Founder’s Fest, a two day celebration that honors the community’s beginnings while bringing the charm of a classic fall festival to Florida. Each year, more than 8,000 guests join us for live entertainment, food trucks, market vendors, carnival rides and games, and an atmosphere thick with community pride.

There is a particular kind of magic that comes from a small-town fall festival, the kind that feels both nostalgic and alive, and Founder’s Fest manages to capture that feeling year after year.

Casino Night

This was the first event I had the pleasure to be the lead.

Guests stepped into an evening of high-energy fun at our Casino Night, where they tested their luck across a variety of classic casino games. Throughout the night, players collected “winnings” in the form of play money, which they later used to bid on more than 20 raffle prizes valued at $150 or more—each generously donated by local businesses.

Alongside the gaming excitement, guests enjoyed complimentary food, full bars, a relaxed cigar lounge, and a tasting area featuring selections from local distilleries. The atmosphere felt a bit like a pop-up boulevard of indulgence, each corner offering something new to savor.

This event was hosted in partnership with SWFL Horse Rescue, and thanks to the enthusiasm of our community, we raised over $5,000 to support their mission. It was a night where good fun met good purpose, and both came out ahead.

Sponsorship

Assisted in sponsorships up to $25,000 and creating long lasting partnerships and connections. 

Food truck management

Efficient coordination and management of food trucks, ensuring seamless operations and diverse culinary offerings at events. Experience in scheduling up to 20 food trucks for an event. 

Market management

Planning, organizing, and executing successful market events that highlight local vendors and create community engagement. Our largest market showcased over 40 market vendors.
